Inheritance Act claims

We regularly represent claimants, defendants, estates and personal representatives in the County Court, the High Court and beyond.  We recognise that careful analysis of both the assets and relationship between the parties is paramount and key to achieving the best outcome for our clients.

Advice at an early stage is often essential and Members of Chambers offer a full service in respect of both advice and representation.  We assist in the drafting of claims and applications, tactics and negotiation, bringing to each case expert knowledge, polished presentation and firm negotiation skills which are thorough, effective and steadfast.

Our aim is to work together alongside both solicitors and lay clients and the members in the chancery team are well known to be approachable, friendly and compassionate especially when dealing with vulnerable and sensitive clients.
Members who undertake this practice area also have expertise in, probate claims,  family finance, Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and applications under the provisions of Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 .

Further, Chambers has recognised that in recent years the use of dispute resolution has become more common. To meet this need our dispute resolution team can offer two qualified mediators who are able to conduct mediation.
