Sarah Barber Returns From Maternity Leave
No.18 Chambers is delighted to welcome back from maternity leave Sarah Barber. Sarah specialises in Family (Care, Private law children & Finance) & Employment .
Sarah regularly representing Applicants, Respondents and intervenors in private family law matters, and acting for all parties in relation to care proceedings including, parents, Local Authorities, and extended family members .
Sarah also has a keen interest in Employment , and has advised on constructive and unfair dismissal, harassment, disability and other discrimination, time limits and remedies
Prior to the bar Sarah provided assistance to solicitors in child law matters, working as a Paralegal for a Local Authority and then for a local firm of solicitors, specialising in child care law. Sarah has also held voluntary positions with both the National Centre for Domestic Violence and the Witness Service in the Magistrates’ Court
