Edward’s experience in this area is diverse and includes personal contracts for building works to family homes (Conservatory and loft construction). Edward has also assisted in actions against energy suppliers in relation to utility bills and insurance companies for refusing to pay post-accident.

As a civil litigation advocate Edward was trained to be a credit hire and has continued to develop this specialist knowledge since coming to the Bar.

Edward’s broader experience relates to credit hire contracts, disputes with holiday providers.  And breach of warranty cases.

Edward spent two years working within a personal injury department dealing with issues as to liability and quantum. Edward has a surprisingly broad range of experience from LVI injuries to multiple fractures and disability. Edward has  particular experience of Noise Induced Hearing Loss.

Edward developed a niche practice in pursuing the perpetrators of harassment for personal injury compensation whether the harassment comes from an individual or a company.

Points Based Applications

Edward has acted in Appeals on all Points Based Applications. Edward is able to offer advice to applications prior to submission on the best way to meet the requirements and navigate the minefields of the Immigration Rules Appendices. Edward also appears in the First Tier and Upper Tribunal at the appeal hearings.   

EEA Rights

Edward has appeared in hundreds of EEA appeals at the First Tier Tribunal and has in depth knowledge on proving the exercising of treaty rights, family member dependency and gaining permanent rights of residence.

Edward has advised and acted on behalf of clients on a wide spectrum of Asylum applications and appeals covering political, social and child trafficking.

Edward  has experience in  both  Commercial and Residential property disputes . He  has  acted for  individual landlords and those with a portfolio of lettings. Edward  has also acted for  Tenants in these disputes. He  has expertise in dealing with mortgage repossession, possession matters, mortgage  disputes  as well as nuisance , disrepair claims together with Building disputes
