Helen Moizer (2018) is available to accept instructions as of 3rd April 2023


No 18 is delighted to announce that Helen Moizer will complete her first sixth as of the 31st March 2023 and is available to accept instructions as of the 3rd April 2023.

Helen joined Chambers as a Pupil in October 2022. Prior to commencing pupillage, Helen worked full-time as an Assistant Legal Officer for the Free Representation Unit, running her own cases and supervising the student volunteers. Prior to this, Helen worked as a legal caseworker for Advocate, the Bar’s pro bono charity.

Throughout her journey to the Bar, Helen has volunteered at various organisations in the U.K. and abroad. For example, at the Public Interest Law Centre she conducted freedom of information requests and as part of the Vocalise program, she taught debating skills in Young Offenders Institutes and Category B prisons. Notably, Helen volunteered in Los Angeles for the law firm ‘Public Counsel’ in their Women and Girls Rights Project. Here, she led a research project analysing the care and adoption issues within Los Angeles’ Social Services.

Helen was called to the Bar in 2018 with a ‘Very Competent’ and grades of ‘Outstanding’ in Cross Examination, Asylum, Detention, Deportation & Extradition, Resolution of Disputes Out of Court and Drafting.
